With over 20 years experience in a variety of treatment settings, Dr. Tarangioli currently serves as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of patients. Among his areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, uncontrolled anger, panic attacks, phobias, PTSD, OCD, and relationship problems. In addition, he worked at a local military base for 9 years with active duty military members and their family members helping them cope with psychological issues (e.g., combat-related PTSD, depression, anxiety) and with the struggles of military life.
Dr. Tarangioli is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. His
therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help
patients effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and
understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their
strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to
accomplishing. Dr. Tarangioli's warm, non-judgmental, and caring personality
helps build a trusting therapeutic relationship that allows his patients to
feel comfortable sharing their personal stories. Many of his patients arrive
to him skeptical of the benefits of therapy only to complete treatment
having made the progress they once thought unattainable.
Dr. Tarangioli's extensive training in both Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy allows him to tailor treatment to each
individual.
